BATTLE CUBE

one of, if not the only, ship i actually had a name for before i even drew the first line. The battlecube is based on a conversion i and a freind had, i asked him..."why do space ships have wings?" i mean, they dont need to fly....im not talking about shuttles im talking about ones that are built in and stay in space forever such as those in eve...blah blah blah. so the point is, in space, the shape doesnt really matter, so why not create a ship with high volume to surface area ratio so you can have more armor? PLUS cubes are pro. Anywho, the description of this ship could be something to the effect of "The Battle Cube is the true embodiment of Minmatar engineering, disreguarding style and elegance for pure throughput and engineering. The Battle Cube is one of the oldest minmatar design concepts only recently realised due to the invention of [insert convenient technology here]"

and no, this is not a trollish submission. I wish i had more time to perfect it, as its not as good as it could be, but this is, although a little silly, still a good ship imo.
